The National Education Council (NACTE), is a tool established in accordance with law, Chapter 129. According to the law, the Council is responsible for managing and ensuring that the Education and Vocational Training provided in the country meets the criteria and quality required in the Tanzania’s domestic and foreign labor market.
In this context, the Council is responsible for ensuring that students are eligible for courses under the Council, which are characterized by the criteria required. But the Council also has the responsibility to assure students and the general public that applicants of different courses are being enrolled at courses and universities recognized by the Council.
Thus, the Council has the responsibility to ensure that procedures prescribed in terms of the law are considered by the pursuit of broad, public interest and the nation as a whole.
The council wishes to inform the public that the lessons have not yet begun and that after a student submits an application for college , the student will not be registered in the college before his name is verified and approved by the NACTE. The names of students who apply for various colleges will be submitted by the NACTE for inspection from 15 to 22 September, 2018. After the verification, the study will begin on 15 October 2018.
